Portfolio

Manuscripts

I have 4 first-author peer-reviewed publications, and I am coauthor or acknowledged on over 25 manuscipts. As a professional scientific and medical writer, I have written manuscripts published in The Lancet, The Lancet Oncology, JAMA Network Open, Clinical Cancer Research, Nature, and Nature Medicine.

Congress Abstracts and Presentations

I have written abstracts and presentations for ESMO, ASCO, the ASM Clinical Virology Symposium, the American Society of Cell Biology, the Society for Neuroscience, the Society of Toxicology, and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

White Papers

White papers provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of a specific technology or product, and can include technical details and/or case studies. I produced this white paper for the genetics testing company Invitae to showcase the value and benefits of their RNA sequencing technology.

Scientific Narratives

I transform complex scientific research into engaging narratives that captivate and inform readers. For this Special Commentary published in International Health, I crafted a compelling article to highlight the research of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.

Plain Language Summaries

Plain language summaries (PLS) present complex or technical information in a concise and easily understandable form. I produced this PLS describing a clinical trial conducted by the pharmaceutial company GSK for patients with endometrial cancer.
